Gram sabha held in 329 revenue villages, DC visits Tiruldih

Jamshedpur: The deputy commissioner of East Singhbhum Amit Kumar today attended a gram sabha organized in Tiruldih village of Tetla panchayat in Potka block and discussed various development plans with the gram sabha members.

The DC went through the information given by the villagers from Form 1 to Form 5 regarding the development plans, requirements and current situation of development in the panchayat.

During inspection, the DC came to know that there were no anganwadi centres and health centres in the said village. He was also told that there is need for road connection from Tiruldih to Bidri. Issues related to agriculture and irrigation were also raised by the villagers before the DC.

Kumar assured to take necessary action to solve the issues and provide various necessary and basic amenities to the villagers in the coming days.

The DC said that gram sabha was held in 329 revenue villages of the district. Various panchayat representatives and administration officials participated in the gram sabha.

Among those present on the occasion included Bipin Kumar, Roop Singh, Mukhiya Dipantari Sardar and panchayat sevak Manoj Kumar.
