Govt. endeavors to take development to one and all: Draupadi Murmu


    Jamshedpur, August 16: On the occasion of 69th Independence Day of the Nation, Jharkhand Governor Draupadi Murmu congratulated the citizens of the country and state during the function at Dumka.

    Murmu said that after getting independence, our Nation has made its place on the International stage with achievements in many fields & our state has played a remarkable role in this achievement.

    The Govt. is committed to develop far off rural areas & it is visible in the actions of the Govt. 4. It is a well known fact that the development of the state cannot be realized without improving the standard of living of the people. To achieve this, the Central & the State Govt. are running many schemes.

    We are working to take these schemes to the targeted people. MNAREGA, Indira Aawas Yojana, National Rural Livelihood Mission, construction of rural roads, construction of bridges & integrated watershed management are some of the areas where the Govt. is seriously implementing the schemes.

    Project Live Schemes are being run to enable the people get their livelihood throughout the year who have got 100 days work.

    The Govt. is endeavoring to connect more & more people with the Prime Minister Security Insurance Scheme, Prime Minister Jeevan Jyoti Scheme & Atal Pension Yojana. The Govt. is paying the first year premium for the BPL people under Prime Minister Security Insurance Scheme.

    Jan Samvad has been started in the state & people can lodge their complaint as well as give their suggestion on toll free 181.

    The complaints are being sorted out suggestions are implemented & it is giving good results.

    The Govt. is seeking to ensure peoples participation in the establishment of public welfare, sensitive, transparent & better governance in the state. To achieve this Govt. is endeavoring to implement IT to make administration transparent & accessible to all.

    The Govt. has launched Operation Muskan to find out the missing children. Under this scheme, 153 children were recovered from 25 towns of different states in the first phase & in the second phase, 496 children were recovered from 35 towns of 11 states.

    The Bal Kalyan Samiti is endeavoring to connect them to their family.

    The Govt. has started E- District Yojana to connect villages with the towns & grampanchayats to assembly. Under this project the govt. is trying to make necessary facilities online.

    Provide better health facilities to the people of the state, the Govt. has considered people earning up to Rs.72,000 yearly for medical subsidy under Medical Help Scheme for the treatment of incurable diseases apart from BPL families.

    The Govt. is giving Rs. 5 lac for Kidney Transplantation, Rs. 4 lac for the treatment of cancer & a maximum amount of Rs. 2.5 lac for the treatment of other incurable diseases.

    The Govt. is endeavoring to take development to one and all & I hope it will overcome the obstacles with the cooperation & creativity of the people.
