Governor visits Kasturba Gandhi Girls Schools

Ranchi: Addressing people during her visit to Kasturba Gandhi Girls� Residential Schools at Mandar, Chanho and Budhumu, Governor Draupadi Murmu here on Wednesday said that children have immense potential to learn and they can achieve their goals provided they are given positive direction. Hence the society should constantly make endeavours to provide them proper education.

Murmu said the enthusiasm for studies among the students of Kasturba Gandhi Girls School is praiseworthy. She asked the students to study wholeheartedly, focus on yoga and set precedent for others to follow.

Governor visited legal literacy club, hostel, kitchen and smart class at Kasturba Gandhi Girls School, Mandar. The students of Kasturba Gandhi Girls School, Budhumu gave the message of �Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao� through a programme which the Governor appreciated and said that in bringing about literacy, women can play a vital role.
