Governor Murmu praises MYM�s efforts

Ranchi, July 12: Governor Draupadi Murmu has lauded the efforts of Marwari Yuva Manch (MYM) for taking initiative and supporting environment protection and �Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao� campaign. Governor Murmu has also given her consent to be a part of the manch’s program on the subject in the third week of August.

Giving this information, regional coordinator, information and public relation, Prakash Sharma, said, �The Governor was provided the complete details about the Akhil Bhartiya Marwari Yuva Manch, its foundation and the current position of the manch in Jharkhand. A delegation of the manch met Governor at Rajbhawan in Ranchi on Tuesday. �

During the meet, members told the Governor that since the formation of the state more than 5,000 prosthetic limbs have been implanted while 2,794 people have been examined during the 12 cancer awareness campaign in two months.
In the next stage, the manch has set a target to make 50,000 children aware about the cancer.

Sharma further informed that manch is operating 50 ambulances all over the Jharkhand, which have been provided through MP and MLAs funds.

Governor urged the delegation led by Prakash Sharma to give special focus to environment protection.

Significantly, the manch has launched a plantation drive wherein 21,121 saplings will be planted across Jharkhand. Along with Prakash Sharma, Ashutosh Kabra was also present during the meeting.
