Jamshedpur: On the fifth day of Shardiya Navratra festival at the historic Jhandewala Devi temple, the Kushmanda, the chaturtha swaroop of Goddess Durga was worshipped with full religious rites.
Today large number of devotees thronged the temple throughout the day for divine darshan. A number of VIPs also visited the temple to seek blessings of the goddess.
Recital of Durga Saptashati in the morning and ved mantras in the evening by students of Badri Bhagat Ved Vidyalaya, Mandoli, filled the atmosphere with positive religious vibrations.
Bhajan kirtan was also performed today by Pankaj Dhawan and team along with Anil Hanslas and team in the Satsang Hall of the temple from noon till 6 pm.
