Gadkari to lay foundation of Mohulia-Baharagora four-lane project


    Jamshedpur, Jan. 25: Union transport minister Nitin Gadkari will lay foundation for the Rs 1000-crore 72-km long Mohulia-Baharagora four-lane project from East Singhbhum in Jharkhand to the Bengal border on the NH-33 and NH-6, at Football Maidan in Maubhandar, Ghatshila, on Wednesday, January 27.

    In addition, the 41km-long Barhi-Hazaribagh stretch, which is also a part of NH-33, will be widened into four lanes at an estimated cost of Rs 600 crore.

    The road transport and highways minister will arrive in Ranchi on January 26 and lay the foundation on January 27.

    The Union minister will also to lay the foundations for Chas-Ramgarh, Barhi-Hazaribagh and Chordaha-Barwa Adda projects.
