Five NIT Jamshedpur students get job offer of Rs 80 L per annum

Jamshedpur, Sep 19: Five students of National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur have received an annual job offer of Rs 80 lakh from an Australia based company. According to Professor Anil Choudhary, Training and Placement In-charge of the institute, the maximum offer of Rs 80 lakh CTC has been made to the students of electrical, electronics and computer science engineering department. The offer has been given by the Australia-based multinational Atlassian. The company had come for campus selection in August this year, said Professor Choudhary.

Those selected include Anamika Chourasia, Shubham Bhattacharya, Deep Shikha, Yash Varnwal and Namita Choudhary.

Last year, a student had got an offer of Rs 72.5 lakh per year. This year software and IT companies are the major job providers. Goldman Sachs has offered the maximum amount of Rs 72.5 lakh per annum, sources said.
