Jamshedpur, Apr 20: A 22-year old girl was gangraped by five youths near the pond at Patamda Basti under Patamda thana area in East Singhbhum districtÂ
The girl was sitting along with her boy friend near the pond when the five accused came to the spot and snatched away the bike of her boy friend and assaultied him and threatened him to leave the place and then gangraped her.Â
Police has managed to nab all the five accused namely, Dhanraj Mahato, Ranjit Mahato, Kullu Mahto, Bullet Mahato and Hari Mahato and sent them to jail.Â
while the victim was sent for medical examination. POlice informed that the girl’s boyfriend came to the thana and informed about the crime after which police reached the site and saw the youth fleeing from the spot. A case has been lodged against the five on the basis of complaint by the girl.Â
