Jamshedpur, Mar 19: Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) the civic body of Jamshedpur is trying all tricks in armour to attain top spot in the Swachh Survekshan 2021, right from wall painting to selfie point to create awareness among masses to maintain cleanliness.
Now JNAC special officer, Krishna Kumar has decided to put up posters and hoardings of film personalities along with their dialogue to spread awareness on sanitation and cleanliness..
One such hoarding has been placed at Tinplate in Golmuri wherein Amitabh Bachhan is seen saying “Aj hamare pass gadi he, bangla he, paisa he, tumhare pass kya he’ and Shashi Kapoor saying “Mere pass home composting he” from the popular film Deewar. Similar hoardings have been placed near Voltas Building in Bistupur with Rajesh Khanna and Sharmiila Tagore.
Similar hoardings will be placed at various important places of the city so that people are aware about hygiene and cleanliness.
JNAC city manager Sandeep Kumar said that wall graffiti on sports topics are being painted on the walls of Keenan Stadium portraying message on cleanliness. The city manager said that JNAC is serious on waste disposal and this is the reason they are focusing on home composting to treat household wet waste into organic manure.
