Jamshedpur, June 12: A 30-year-old private electrician was killed while maintaining power fault by climbing on a DVC service line pole at Chhotagovindpur under Govindpur thana area on Saturday morning.Â
A resident of Hitku area he was identified as Sumeet Singh.
The mishap took place in front of the house of one Yamuna Rajak at Kailash Nagar .Â
After a power connection problem at his house from the service line early in the morning, Rajak had reportedly lodged a complaint with the DVC.Â
The house owner some how managed to bring down the victim with the help of a bamboo and rushed him to Tata Motors Hospital in Telco where
OC, Govindpur, Ranjit Kumar Singh said they have started probing into the circumstances in which the mishap took place.
“We have taken the statement of Rajak and also have obtained footage of CCTV camera.. We will also get a postmortem of the body for teaching to a conclusion, ” said the OC.
