Jamshedpur: The MP of Jamshedpur Dr Ajay Kumar has demanded deputation of doctors in the primary health centres of the district on a priority basis. He said the rural parts of the district were still lagging behind the urban areas in terms of medical facility.
The people living in villages are still deprived of proper medical facilities due to absence of a good number of doctors in the PHCs and other health centres, the MP said.
The MP said the National Rural Health Mission had failed to bring about any positive changes or improvement in the rural health scenario. He said the state government should take concrete measures to improve the situation.
