Jamshedpur : BJP leaders led by party’s district ( East Singhbhum) president Nandiji Prasad today met chief minister Raghubar Das in Ranchi and apprised him about the inter-community violence which broke-out in Mango last week.
During the meeting at the CM House in the afternoon the members of the delegation protested the act of police which lodged FIR against 60-70 BJP activists for their alleged involvement in the violence.
District party spokesperson Anil Modi, said that the chief minister gave a patient hearing to their issues and assured that no innocent would be punished.
” The meeting was fruitful as the chief minister assured us of taking necessary action based on the probe report of the Kolhan commissioner. The chief minister told us that the report is expected in the next couple of days,” said Modi.
The BJP activists who were part of the delegation also took a decision that they would launch a ‘ Jail Bharo Andolan.’
