Jamshedpur, Oct 13: AJSU Party District President Kanhaiya Singh issued a press release saying that the district administration should desist from acts like banning the distribution of Durga Puja Bhog and getting the dome of a pandal removed. The communiqué stated that the Deputy Commissioner Suraj Kumar who was on an inspection tour of the city should not have stopped the distribution of Bhog of Mother Bhagwati and that his action was an instance of government pressure. “The district administration’s attitude reflects that it is not only working under the pressure of a particular party but is acting as an office bearer of that party. Governments will come and go but administrative officers should discharge their responsibilities fairly. Mother’s devotees have been hurt and offended and such actions will not be tolerated,” Kanhaiya Singh stated in his press release.
