Dilapidated Tatanagar railway quarters to be renovated

Jamshedpur, May 10: The dilapidated railway quarters in Tatanagar would soon get a facelift. Railway is planning to renovate them and convert them into rest rooms for its employees, sources said.

Senior Officer (Personnel) Srirangam Haritas of Chakradharpur Rail Division inspected the old railway quarters at Railway Traffic Colony, Bagbera, in this connection. He was accompanied by Railway union leader Shashi Mishra.

According to sources, the old quarters will be pulled down and new buildings would be built in their place. At present, there are rest houses for officers and running staff. For other railway employees, rest house is not available, sources said.
