Gamharia: Hundreds of displaced people of the Adhunik Power Plant located at Padampur village in Kandra have been angry with the promise of the company for the last ten years and have stopped the convoy of state transport minister Champai Soren passing through Kandra toll plaza.

Krishna Baske, president of the oustees of Padampur village, said that the company has been in operation for 10 years, but the company management has been constantly tricking the villagers in the name of compensation and giving jobs to the displaced before the construction of the company. , But now the villagers are ready to fight across.

Seeing the locals standing on the roadside, Minister Champai Soren also broke protocol and listened to the displaced. Minister Champai Soren said that the demands of the displaced people from the company were valid and due to the efforts of the district administration, efforts would be made to provide proper rights and compensation to the displaced and affected people.
