Jamshedpur, June 1: Gayatri Yagya was organized at Maa Raksha Kali Gayatri Mandir in Baridih Bazar amid presence of large number of devotees on Thursday, June 1. The religious event was held to mark the foundation day of Maa Raksha Kali Gaytri Mandir.
The religious event began with Gaytri Yagya at 7 am which continued till the afternoon which saw devotees throng the venue. At 12 pm Prasad (Bhog) was distributed among the devotees.
The summer heat failed to dampen the spirit of people as they were seen engrossed.
Later in the evening Deep Mahayagya was also be organized were people from different parts of the city participated. Present on the occasion was Vaidya Kailash Mahato among others.
