Ranchi, Dec. 30: Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Wednesday said that apart from industries, there is immense potential in tourism in the development of the state. Deoghar, Parasnath and Rajrappa will be developed as global tourist spot.
He said that a three storey building including a restaurant will be built costing Rs. 50 lakh by CCL under CSR at Rajrappa for the development of tourism. This building can be accommodated by anyone who has come from outside irrespective of their social status.
No rent will be charged for staying. The CM said it while addressing people after offering puja at divine Ma Chinnamastika temple.
Das laid foundation stone of various projects for Rs. 3.73 crore for the development of tourism in the state. He cut the ribbon of a restaurant on PPP mode in the temple premise.
The CM said that a police company will be deployed by the govt. at Rajrappa with a view provide security to the people. He appealed to the priests to maintain discipline in the temple premise. He said that the govt. is going to make provision for tourism funds in budget for the old age and the poor on national level.
