Decision to provide interest free loans to states on 50 year tenure commendable: BJP leader JB Tubid

Jamshedpur, Feb 3:  Former BJP state spokesperson JB Tubid described the Union Budget 2022-‘23 presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman as historic and development oriented. He was addressing a press meet at the BJP district headquarter in Sakchi. Jamshedpur Mahanagar president of the part, Gunjan Yadav was present on the occasion.

JB Tubid observed in the meeting, “This Budget will prove to be a milestone in taking the country forward. Priority has been given to villages, poor, farmers, women, youth, scheduled castes and scheduled tribes. The Budget is the blueprint for the next 25 years and is an elixir that will make India surge forward in all development zones.”

He said that the Budget was conceived to bolster the ambition of Self Reliant India. “It (Budget) has the potential to pave the way for empowering all sections of society including farmers, youth, entrepreneurs, workers and women of the country.

Rs 1 lakh crore has been allocated for the year 2022-‘23 to motivate all investments in the economy and to help the states. One such measure provisioned for in this Budget is to provide 50 year loans to states without interest. It is a Budget for the nation as it is the outcome of the central government’s visionary thinking. The 50 year, interest free loan provision is a big gift-pack to the state governments that need to take positive initiative so that India can be established as a powerful nation.”

The BJP leader, to drive home the bounties provided in the Budget 2022-’23, pointed out that the tax deduction limit on employers’ contribution to NPS account had been increased from 10 per cent to 14 per cent for state government employees at par with their central government counterparts. He said, “This will help in enhancing the social security benefits of the State Government employees and bring them at par with the Central Government employees. The Union Budget has provided major focus on the development of digital economy for various sectors including social sectors like agriculture, education and health technology.”
