Seraikela: The deputy commissioner of Seraikela-Kharsawan convened a meeting of district officials to review preparations for the Republic Day celebrations in the district.
It was decided to hoist the Tricolour at Birsa Munda Stadium on 9 am and inspect the parade. After flag hoisting, a colourful float will be taken out.
Different government departments and schools participate in the programme. A fancy cricket match will also be organized in the afternoon.
Every year, the match is held between teams representing the district administration and the public. A colourful programme will be held at the Town Hall in the evening.
