Jamshedpur, August 13: East Singhbhum deputy commissioner Amit Kumar headed a monthly review meeting regarding revenue collection in the district.
At the meet comprehensive review of reports received for distribution of drought relief, online mutation, bandobasti, national savings etc was also held.
During the review of revenue collection, DC expressed dissatisfaction over product, transportation and registration for not meeting the target. DC ordered the commercial tax officers to conduct intensive search to stop revenue loss. Amit Kumar asked the concerned officials to set up CCTV cameras in bordering areas.
Regarding bandobasti of liquor shops, DC asked the assistant commissioner (Excise) to take necessary steps in this regard.
Seeing the downgrade performance of district savings officer, DC ordered additional deputy commissioner to work in coordination with post office officials, district saving officers to achieve revenue collection target.
At the meeting ADC, SDO, district transport officer, district mining officer, district fishery officer, special officer of notified areas, municipality, circle officers and others were present.
