Dance and songs to save Jharkhands culture: Babulal

    Jamshedpur: Naha Burhi Gadi Adivasi dance programme was organized at the Hartopa football ground in Narwa Pahar, Jadugora, on Tuesday under the aegis of Baba Tilka Majhi Memorial Society. The chief guest of the occasion was the central general secretary of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha Babulal Soren. He said sticking to one’s traditions and values would help prevent the Adivasi culture. He said the tribal people should not forget their culture under the influence of modernism. He said singing and dancing were an integral part of the ancient Adivasi culture.
    Several groups of Adivasi youths participated in a dance competition. The best group was awarded by the guests who included Zila Parishad president Bulurani Singh, Lakhan Hembram, Madhusudan Murmu, Somai Kisku, Mukhiya Malti Hansda, Piru Kisku, Dashmat Murmu, Sukurmuni Tudu and Gajia Hansda.
