Ranchi, July 27: Reviewing Tourism and Culture Department, Chief Secretary Raj Bala Verma today said that instead of just completing their work, the officials should be creative and perfectionist in implementing schemes. The priority of the govt. is defined and work should be done accordingly.
Timeframe work should be done for building the proposed international level museum in Ranchi. Immediate initiation should also be taken to ease the pressure on queue complex in Deoghar. Anjandham is an important tourism shrine and it should be developed sensitively.
Development of Patratu, Rajrappa and Pahari Mandir should be done in a timeframe.
Verma said that program conduction should not be the motto in art and culture. The impact of the program on the people for whom it is made should also be studied. Program should be made for the people and to boost up the relevance of culture. Cultural activities should be capable of boosting the culture of the state. She said that the cultural heritage should be exchanged with Goa.
The CS said that development of sports and players should be done professionally. Only the best players should be promoted without any favouritism or politics. Day boarding schools should be operated professionally.
Tourism Sec Rahul Sharma and other officers were present in the meeting.
