Ranchi June 3: Chief Secretary Rajbala Verma directed the officials to add state schemes with Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) and AADHAAR Seeding in campaign mode. Re-locate and reorganize Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) cell under Planning -cum-Finance Department, CS further added.
During the review meeting Mrs. Verma directed department of School Education and Literacy, department of Welfare, Women and Child Development and Social Security , Department of Institutional Finance and Implementation and Director of Unique Identity Department to ensure implementation of Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
CS directed Food, Public Distribution and Consumer Affairs Department officials to be prepared with AADHAAR Seeding and other works related to cover the consumers of entire state in a time frame so that launching of this scheme on 15th august by Chief Minister can be realized. Mrs.Verma further asked the officials to plan to motivatemasses to leave subsidy .
She directed the officials to procure details of total number of L.P.G. consumers and number of consumers who have left subsidy from the oil companies .
CS asked the officials to complete AADHAAR Seeding of Mid-Day-Meal on mission mode before 15th of august 2016.
If bankers delay or neglect in AADHAAR Seeding of students ,collect detail and send it to ministry of finance, Government of India, directed the CS to officials of of School Education and Literacy department. In this regard UID have been directed to prepare a roster of students whose AADHAAR is due.
CS directed the officials to organize massive campaign for its implementation up to 15th July & ensure accountability of the district-level officials in this work. For the payment of para teachers ,CS directed AADHAAR Seeding.
During review meeting it was found that 63% of MANREGA workers are operating through post office a/c and due to infra limitation of post officesproblems occur in AADHAAR Seeding .In this regard CS directed the officials to prepare block wise/ panchayat wise database and start correspondence with bank officials to provide facilities.
CS directed welfare department officials to ensure AADHAAR Seeding of scheme beneficiaries in bank a/c . Mrs.Verma directed social welfare department officials to work on mission mode for preparation of AADHAAR cards of 0-6 years baby.
