Ranchi, March 16: Jharkhand government has achieved a remarkable place in revenue collection and expenditure under planning head in the current financial year.
Principal secretary, finance and planning, Amit Khare said that the condition of expenditure has improved in comparison to the previous financial year.
Khare said that Rs. 20,951.33 crore has been expensed under planning head by March 15, 2016 which is 70.06% of the revised planning budget provisions of Rs. 29,906.00 crore. In the last financial year 2014-15, Rs. 18,899.37 crore was expensed by March 31, 2015. Hence the present planning expenditure is 10.86% more in comparison to previous year with Rs. 20,51.96 crore.
Khare said that in comparison to the previous year, a remarkable increased has been observed in revenue collection during the current financial year.
Different departments have collected Rs. 12072.47 crore by February 2016 with an increased rate of 14.04%.
