CM encourages cops to make Jharkhand crime-free

Ranchi, Nov. 4: Addressing the concluding function of Jharkhand State Police Duty Meet 2015 on Wednesday, Chief Minister Mr. Raghubar Das appealed to the police personnel to ensure a crime free-Jharkhand.

He laid stress on disposing their duty with honesty and sympathy.

He praised the police for their remarkable role in controlling extremism and paid tribute to the martyrs from the state police force.

On this occasion, the CM launched the Shakti App, logo and I.T.S of A.T.S (Anti-Terrorist Squad). Shakti App is an Android-based mobile application, which women in trouble can use to get in touch with the police control room as well as their relatives directly.

In the first phase, this App will be used on a trial basis in seven police stations of Jamshedpur.
The CM also distributed prizes to successful participants.

Additional Chief Secratary Mr. N.N Pandey, DGP Mr. D.K Pandey, ADG (CID) Mr. Ajay Bhatnagar and Police I.G Mrs. Sampat Meena also addressed the concluding function.
