Ranchi: Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Tuesday congratulated state authorities for the completion of two years by Mukhya Mantri Jan Samvad Kendra and disposal of 78 % of the total registered complaints by it. He said that Jan Samvad should try to attain a complaint disposal rate of 95 %.
Also present on the occasion, Principal Secretary to the CM Sanjay Kumar said a total of 1,27,299 complaints were registered with Mukhya Mantri Jan Samvad Kendra in the last 2 years and 78.06 % complaints were satisfactorily disposed.
Secretary to the CM Sunil Kumar Barnwal said that 59 % complaints were satisfactorily disposed last year. This year, 78 % cases were disposed. Complaints were reviewed continuously for 52 weeks. Now complaints are being categorized.
On getting widow pension after so long, a widow thanked the CM. Vinod Jaiswal of Latehar and psychiatrist of Ranchi J. J. Solanki and other complainants thanked the CM for fast disposal of complaints.
Das announced Rs. 1 lakh compensation to the father of one Puja Devi, a resident of Bokaro, after his daughter was allegedly deserted by her husband. On hearing that even after 27 years, results of Law College, Daltonganj, has not been published, the CM directed the Higher Education Secretary to take necessary steps for disposal of complaints.
When additional Electricity Engineer Jainandan Kumar Singh was harassed after taking action against unauthorized electricity connection, the CM directed to arrest the policeman found guilty of electricity theft.
On arresting the prime accused in connection with double murder case of grandma and granddaughter at Bhabhri, Das said that DSPs should inspect the police station areas routine-wise and review the cases. The responsibilities of police inspectors and police sub-inspectors should be fixed.
In connection with the murder of one Arjun Parsad in Naxal attack in 2013, the CM asked the officials concerned to dispose the compensation demand without delay. He also announced to give Shanti Devi the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Sahari Aawas Yojana while the latterís house was encroached by Hemlal Sharma.
On completing 2 years, Mukhya Mantri Jan Samvad Kendra received the CM while the female staff sang Nagpuri songs in his honour. He thanked all the staff of Mukhya Mantri Jan Samvad Kendra and said that it is working sincerely. IPRD Director Rajeev Lochan Bakshi was also felicitated by Jan Samvad. He said that Jan Samvad will be made more effective.
