Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren today said the state government was firm on its stand on terrorism and that it was going to take stern action against anyone dealing in terrorism.
He was speaking to mediapersons in Bokaro on Saturday. He said Left-wing extremism and terrorism were problems that should be tackled jointly by the Central and state governments.
He said the government of Jharkhand was concerned about national safety in the wake of the recent revelations about terrorist links of Ranchi. He said the government would be taking initiatives to tighten security.
Soren participated in the Disom Sohrai festival at Sector 4 in Bokaro. He said the government was committed towards the development of the tribal people of the state. He said the government had a separate department to deal with the tribal development issues.
