Jamshedpur : Sarvajanik Seva Samiti�s Shyam Sunder Mishra has demanded better facilities for the devotees. He has expressed concern over rising water level of River Swarnarekha and Kharkai and has asked the administration to take the matter seriously and take steps for safety.
He has written a letter to Deputy Commissioner and demanded that the officials of civic bodies along with Jusco should inspect the ghats to understand the situation better.
He said that there is an urgent need to properly clean the river banks, and various water bodies on the occasion of the festival of Chhat Puja, which is celebrated with gaiety and fervour by people of the city.
