Jamshedpur, Feb 3: Members of Kherwal Sanvata Jahergarh Samiti, Gamharia, accused district traffic police of harassing local residents in the name of vehicle checking. They alleged that traffic police officials were stopping commuters and imposing fines on them in the name of inspection. The outfit secretary Bhomra Majhi said people were stopped during peak hour when they have to reach their offices and other destinations with urgent work. He said a complaint would be made in this regard to the DIG of Kolhan for action against accused cops.
