Charulata tops JPS with 94.4 % marks in bio-science

Jamshedpur, May 21: Students of Jamshedpur Public School (JPS) came out with flying colors in the CBSE Class 12 results.

Charulata of bio-science was the school topper scoring 94.4 % marks; Abhijit Sahu scored 93 % to be crowned second school topper in bio-science with 93 % marks while Anushruti was third topper with 89.4 % marks.

Total of 179 students, 90 girls and 89 boys, students appeared for the Class 12 exam from the school among which 30% scored an average of 80% and above.

�The overall result has been good this year, students have fared very well and the school’s bio-science students have done exceptionally well, although the maths results were a little disappointing,� said Namita Agarwal, principal of JPS.

In the pure science Rohit Kumar Jha was the school topper with 92.4% marks, Abhishikta and Jyoti Kumari were joint second topper with 91.6% marks, while Arijeet Banerjee and Ankit Kumar were joint third toppers with 91% marks.

In the commerce stream, Ekta Agarwal was the school topper with 94% marks, followed by Sonali Bhaskar with 91.6% and Arpita Gupta with 89.2% marks.
