Chamber members meet Union MSME Minister

    Jamshedpur: A delegation of Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry met Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Kalraj Mishra, in New Delhi on 24th September last and raised various demands related to the welfare of industries in Kolhan and other parts of Jharkhand.

    Leading the delegation, Ashok Bhalotia, vice president, SCCI (industry), said the need for renewing the factory licence issued bthe welfare of industries in Kolhan and other parts of Jharkhand.

    Leading the delegation, Ashok Bhalotia, vice president, SCCI (industry), said the government should do away with the condition requiring companies to renew their factory licences every year.

    He further said that MSMEs based on steel and other industries should be given priority by bigger industries in the supply of raw materials or their by-products.

    He further said that a technical institute should be established for technical workers for their skill development by the government.

    Many other demands including the demand for strict implementation of the MSME Act 2006 were raised by the Chamber members.
