Chaibasa to get a medical college soon: Union Minister


    Chaibasa, June 13: West Singhbhum BJP organised “Modi Fest – Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas exhibition showcasing 3 years achievements of the central government at Gandhi Maidan, Chaibasa on Tuesday.

    The chief guest for the occasion was Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Faggan Singh Kulaste who inaugurated the fest. Addressing the gathering, minister said, Chaibasa will have a medical college very soon and all the district hospitals would be upgraded to medical college. ‘The union government would upgrade medical hospital to medical college while the target is 83. Seven AIIMS have been started and we are indentifying land for setting up 18 more AIIMS including in north east and Jammu and Kashmir’, added Kulaste.

    Minister further said that under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana the government is committed to provide house to each poor of the country by 2022.

    BJP Jharkhand President Laxman Gilua said that Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas will strengthen the country. BJP spokesperson and TAC member JB Tubid said, it was PM Modi who made the developed countries realize about terrorism which is the biggest threat to humanity and now the entire world accepts this issue.

    Modi has increased the national pride in international arena and has also focused so much on development activities for Jharkhand including Sahebganj port construction, Swarnrekha to be connected with Haldia for commercial purposes , medical college in Chaibasa etc.

    Earlier, BJP district president Dinesh Chandra Nandi welcomed the guests. Present on the occasion were Sanju Pandey, Badkunwar Gagrai, Ashok Sarangi, Guruchran Nayak and others.
