Jamshedpur, May 21: Students of Vidya Bharati Chinmaya Vidyalaya put up a brilliant performance in the CBSE Class 12 results, which were declared on Saturday noon. Atul Kumar was the city topper in pure science stream with 96.8 % marks, while KS Sreekara Sabarish was second with 96.4 % marks.
Sushant Pradhan and P Kamala Priya of the same stream scored 95.4 percent marks to bag the joint third position in the school. In the Bio Science Supriya Prasad was the school topper with 96.2 % marks while Gargi Sinha scored 96 % to take the second spot and Subhanjali Sinhamahapatra was the third school topper with 94.8 %.
Commerce students also came out with flying colors with Abhishek Abhinandan and Simran Mandhan scoring 94.2 % marks to be crowned joint school topper followed by Namrata Kumari who scored 93.8 % while Abhishek was third topper with 91.6 % marks.
According to the subject wise result provided by the school, 100 students scored 90 % and above in English, 10 students got more than 90 % in Hindi, 28 got more than 90 % in mathematics, while several students scored 100 each in physics, chemistry, biology, biotech and computer science.
