Jamshedpur, April 25: Nearly 150 students along with parents attended a orientation meeting cum Career guidance and counseling session organized by Motilal Nehru Public School (MNPS) in the school premises on Tuesday.
The first session was taken up by Mrs. AshuTiwary, Principal, who spoke at length about the examination pattern, assessments and promotion as per council guidelines.
In the second session , Dr. Amitava Mitra, Chief Scientist , NML discussed about career prospects at CSIR (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research) and National Research and Development organization.
In the third session, career launcher dwelt at length about requirements for a career in law, emphasizing the course outline, important colleges and placements.
In the last session, Representatives of RACE IIT Academy spoke about engineering and medical coaching imparted by them.
Parents and students were visibly happy and satisfied with the learnings while the Career guidance helped the school students figure out their paths.
On the other hand, J.E vaccine was given to 257 students at Motilal Nehru Public School on Tuesday morning by the District R.C.H department through a camp in school. Shan Kumar Mandal, Public Health Manager along with his team of Eight member carried out the vaccination programme.
