‘Burglars day out’ in Jamshedpur, decamp with cash over Rs 10 lakhs from four garment shops in Sakchi

Jamshedpur: Unknown criminals decamped with cash over Rs 10 lakhs from four garment shops at Sakchi market late last night.  The shop owners came to know about the burglaries as they opened their shops in the morning. In all the four shops, the thief had entered into the shops from the rear side of your shops.

The garment shops where the burglary took place were Fashion World, Kurti House, M Mart and Abhinandan, all located at Jhanda Chowk at the Sakchi market.

The criminals have taken away amounts starting from Rs 5,000 to Rs 7 lakhs by breaking open the cash-box of the shops.

OC, Sakchi police station, Kunal Kumar reached the spot after getting complaint of the burglaries. Soon after superintendent is police (City), Subhash Chandra Jat also reached the spot and inspected the burgled shops.

” As per our investigation, burglaries have taken place at four garment shops in Sakchi market in the night. We are trying to detect the case, ” Jat.

The City SP said forensic experts have been pressed into service for taking fingerprints at the scene of crime. He pointed out CCTV camera footage is also being collected for the detection of the crime.

BJM District President Subodh Srivastava, who reached Sakchi Bazar on receiving information about the theft incident, said that the administrative system proved to be a failure due to the continuous theft incident during the lockdown. Such an incident in Sakchi Bazar has raised a question mark on administrative vigilance. On the instructions of MLA Saryu Roy, BJMO workers have met the aggrieved shopkeepers and got information about their loss.

 Srivastava said that MLA has been apprised of the situation and a demand will be made with Jamshedpur district administration to arrest the thieves involved in the Sakchi Bazar incident soon. Mainly Kulwinder Singh Pannu, Akash Shah, Joginder Singh Jogi, Prem Karan Pandey, Trilochan Singh etc. were present in the delegation.
