Jamshedpur, May 6: Â The body of a youth was found hanging from a tree on Saturday morning in Neeldungri under Sundernagar police station. Seeing the dead body, the local people informed the police. Police reached the spot and with the help of the local people removed the body from the trap and sent it for postmortem.
The deceased was identified as 35-year-old Jeetu Raj, resident of Rampur police station area of Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh. The police have informed the family members about the incident. The deceased worked in a gas agency at Nildungari. Colleagues told the police that Jeetu used to work as a laborer and he was in depression for a few days. On Saturday morning he went out to defecate. When the local people went to the toilet, they saw him.
