Ranchi: Water supply to hundreds of households in Harmu was stopped immediately following the recovery of a dead body from a water tank under Argora police station area on Saturday.
The body was recovered in the morning when an employee of the drinking water and hygiene department went to inspect the water tank.
He soon informed the senior officials who in turn tipped the police about the incident. Police asked the PHED officials to stop the water supply and took the body in possession. The tank was closed when the body was recovered from it.
