Jamshedpur, June 13: Nuvoco�s Jojobera Cement Plant (JCP) organized blood donation camp at JCP administrative building conference hall in association with the Indian Red Cross Society, Jamshedpur on Tuesday. 207 employee�s, including contractual workers, voluntarily participated in the program and donated blood.
The camp was inaugurated by lighting of the lamp by C L Sharma (Commissioner Sale Tax), Manoj Agrawal, Vice President, JCP, Rakeshwar Panday, President LIEU, Vinay Dubey, DGM HR, Bijay Khan, General Secretary (Union) along with other Nuvoco officials and union members.
Speaking on the occasion, Manoj Agrawal said, �Blood donation is a very noble cause and there are lot of myths attached to it.
It is important that as responsible corporate citizens we spread awareness about blood donation and appealed every individual to come forward and join this humanitarian cause by donating blood in future also.
C L Sharma (Commissioner Sale Tax) and Rakeshwaer Panday � President � LIEU appreciated the efforts taken by Nuvoco and urged every employee and worker to donate blood.
