BJP suspects conspiracy to disturb peace at Turamdih Mines


    Jamshedpur : The BJP activists led by senior leader Dineshanand Goswami and Menaka Sardar met DC and
    expressed concern over conspiracy by local union leaders to disturb peace of the Turamdih mines.

    They said that after two workers were terminated union leaders of the Jharkhand Krantikari Mazdoor Union (JKMU) have created a uproar.

    On 10 March 2011 the Sundernagar Police Station lodged FIRs on charges on 37 office bearers and executive committee
    members of JKMU on the behest of UCIL management and on 20 April 2011 forced the arrest of 3 union leaders – Srijan Tudu, Subodh Patro and Kalicharan Karmakar.

    UCIL management has chargesheeted JKMU union leaders on a regular basis. The leaders demanded that steps should be taken to ensure peace in the area. Pappu Singh , Pintu Chakia , Priya Kunkal , Ajit , Mangala , Sushil, were present
