The chief guest of the programme was the MP of Jamshedpur Vidyut Varan Mahato. In his address, he said the BJP governments in the Centre and in the state were working hard to fulfill the promises made during the elections. The BJP governments are doing every bit to develop the nation and the state.

Road networks are being laid down like never before. Investors are coming to the state. Employment opportunities are being generated in large numbers. This is a good sign for the people as the government is doing what had not been done by previous non-BJP governments, said the MP.

Mahato said that thousands of Adivasis and Moolvasis of the state will get jobs as the Rakha Mines of Mosabani was soon going to be reopened after 17 years of closure. He further said that every village of the state will get uninterrupted power supply by the year 2018. He said the government is working on a war footing to make this possible.

Menka Sardar, addressing the gathering, said the government led by Chief Minister Raghubar Das is easily approachable to the common man. In the last two years, the government has tightened the noose around corruption and red-tapism. The government is focusing on establishing better communication with the public, he said.

District BJP president Dinesh Kumar was also present during the event. He said the CM was leading the state to generate greater employment opportunities and expedite development works. Jharkhand is joining the league of fast developing states and shedding its past image of a backward state, he said.
