Noamundi : The birth anniversary of Mahatma Hans raj was celebrated at TATA DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL, NOAMUNDI.
On Saturday Floral tribute was paid to the great soul by Mr M.C. Thomas GM, OMQ, TATA STEEL ,NMD Mr. B.D. Mohanty Chief process and Logistics ,Mrs. Siji Thomas ,President MahilaSamiti ,Mr. T .K. Mishra ,principal, Dr. Aparna Mishra and teachers.
Diya was lighted by the chief guest and other dignitaries to give a formal start to the auspicious occasion.
Welcome song was sung by XII students. Ashort speech on Mahatma Hansraj, release of school magazine,
welcome to XI students and CharitraNirman session was highlighted by Mr. TK. Mishra.Moral values and
responsibilities of the students was shared by the chief guest .Life history of Mahatma Hans raj was focussed by MonalisaPati of StdXII.
An introductory session of XI students was addressed by Mr B. D. Mohanty LMC, Chairman. Mass Hawan was organised by Mr. S. Panda and other Sanskrit teachers. On CharitraNirman session Hindi and Sanskrit teachers gave moral tips to the students.
A video on Yoga and meditation was shown to the students. The programme was ended with a formal vote of thanks by AmrinNaaz of XII student.
