Jamshedpur, July 12: The orientation meeting with the students and parents of Std. XI was held on Saturday, July 11 at SDSM School for Excellence.
The newly admitted students XI were welcomed and acquainted with the code of conduct of the school, its achievements, provision and facilities. The teachers were introduced to students and their parents.
The Principal, Mrs. Shyamali Virdi introduced the teachers according to their subjects. She also told them with the activities and achievements of the school. She quoted that the first step to success is discipline which is acquired by the child at their home first and by the time they reach school they are well disciplined.
One can achieve his/her goal only by being disciplined in every aspect of life. Even the overall development of a student depends on it.
The students were informed about regularity, registration, test/exams, class room activities, time-table and co-curricular activities. The students were also told about value education which is the most vital aspect for the overall development of the students.
The parents were requested to encourage their wards to take part in all kinds of extra co-curricular activities, besides their academics such as – sports, debate, elocution, inter-school competitions and excursion which is organized by the school.
Parents support and co-operation is of utmost importance for the students overall development.
On this occasion the Principal Mrs. Shyamali Virdi, Vice-Principal Ragini Singh, teachers and students of Class XI Science & Commerce were present.
