Jamshedpur, Dec 8: BJP district general secretary Anil Modi dubbed the Bharat Bandh effect as an utter flop show. He stated, “The boorish attitude and behaviour of JMM and Congress people forcefully imposing the Bandh call did not affect normal life in Jamshedpur. The failure of the bandh has proved that the general people and the actual farmers support the new Farm Bills. This is a preconceived move of rudderless opposition parties to remain in the political limelight. The general farmers have no role in this organized bandh. The actual farmers are happy as they are seeing positivity in the new Bills.”
The BJP district general secretary said that the Congress and JMM had no moral right to protest against the Farm Bills. He said, “The two parties, the moment they formed the state government did away with the farmer friendly Krishi Ashirwad Yojna and the Krishi Bima Yojna premium payment from th state exchequer. The Congress and JMM have, in fact, ensured more harm for the farmers and the bandh call is their platform from where they can shed their crocodile tears amidst their wolfish grins. The uncouth manner that the Congress and JMM cadres adopted to forcefully shut shops and other business establishments is downright condemnable.”
