Jamshedpur: Sri Aurobindo Society, Jamshedpur branch, celebrated its foundation day at Kadma on Monday. A function was organized at the Kadma branch of the outfit on the occasion.
The program started with the outfit members garlanding the portraits of Sri Aurobindo and Anandmayee Maa.
The Society member Harprasad Sarkar sang a prayer while Udayan Basu sang a religious song.
Puja Chakraborty recited Sri Aurobindo�s �Sabitri� while Shulka Roy Choudhary, Jaideb Das and Madhobi Chakraborty recited Durga Stotra.
The Society president Sudipto Mukherjee, vice president Deepak Tulsyan, Prabhakar Rao and secretary Subir Das addressed the event. Yoga guru Santosh Pandey and Society children performed yoga on the occasion.
Among others present during the programme included Chitrodeep Bhattacharjee, Saroj Dev, Bimal Chakraborty, Subroto Kundu, Hashi Patro, Amal Chakraborty and Purbi Ghosh.
