Jamshedpur : The staff of the Kolhan University has refused to work in Chaibasa office after a group of miscreants assaulted Ganga Prasad Singh, the controller of examinations on Saturday in the campus at Chaibasa.

About 250 students entered into the office of the university, and thrashed Singh, made him wear a garland of shoes and paraded across the university and Tata College campus.

After the incident, the deans of various departments and other staff members have asked for proper security measures in the university campus.
