Jharkhand Assembly committee unhappy over industries not coming on vacant lands

Jadugora, July 25: Members of Jharkhand assembly committee on question and calling attention inspected the areas in Jadugora in East Singhbhum district and express unhappiness over lands taken by industrialists and entrepreneurs from Aiada two years before for setting up small and micro  industries but no units has come up on the said lands so far. 
Out of  102 acres of land taken by industrialists for setting up units but not a single unit has come up and the members said that a review meeting would be held on this issue under state cabinet secretary within 15 days on the time taken for setting up industrial units and employment generation. The assembly committee is led by Ghatshila JMM MLA Ramdas Soren and they said that if industries come on vacant lands of Hindustan Copper Limited then it will create job opportunities and prevent migration of workers to outside. The members also said that they would suggest probe into violation of Company Act about taking of lands from Hindustan Copper by Jharkhand government under Raghubar Das and then handed over to Aiada and later Hindustan Copper again took back the land.
