Jamshedpur, October 16: Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated 75 Digital Banking Units (DBU) to the nation today on the occasion of Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi. This program was completed online.
A program was organised in Jamshedpur at the premises of Bank of India located at Bistupur.
Union tribal affairs minister Arjun Munda and Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Varan Mahato also attended the online inauguration program.
Bidyut Mahto said that the launch of digital banking unit is the beginning of a new revolution in banking services across the country. It is a direct means of reaching the banking service to the general public of the country. With this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started a revolutionary era in the country’s rural to urban economy. Its direct benefit will be on the economy of this country, this will increase transparency and will directly curb corruption.
