Angika Samaj to stage protest demanding train from Tatanagar to Bhagalpur

Jamshedpur, Jan. 22: Angika Jagriti Sangh held its annual get-together at Samudayik Vikas Maidan in Chhota Govindpur on Sunday, January 22.

At the event proposal was passed for holding protests for running direct train from Tatanagar to Bhagalpur. Total of 6500 people of the Angika samaj attended the annual get-together.

Several cultural events were held during the day. The event was inaugurated by the chief guest Rajya Sabha MP Pradeep Kumar Balmuchu, guest of honour former MLA Arvind Singh in presence of Bulu Rani Sardar, Meera Munda, Praveen Singh, BJP district president Dinesh Kumar, President of the Angika Jagriti Sangh Kaushal Singh, Convener of the Sangh Ravindra Jha, general secretary ShivShankar Singh, Ajay Singh, Ravindra Singh, Rajendra Singh, Binod Singh, Sanjeev Singh, Zila Parshad Sunita Shah, Ranveer Singh, Raman Singh, Paritosh Singh, Chandrasekhar Singh, Shashi Bhushan Singh and others.

Senior members of the Sangh Laxman Singh, Naresh Singh, Sadanand Singh, Shashidhar Singh, Bhupendra Singh, Heera Singh, Muneshwar Jha, Saldeva Shah, Ujagar Singh, Shankar Singh, Kameshwar Singh were felicitated by offering them a shawl. The programme was anchored by Shivshankar Singh where welcome address was given by Raman Singh.

The programme was headed by Kaushal Singh and Ravindra Jha while Shashi Bhushan Singh extended the vote of thanks. Rupesh Kumar Singh was felicitated for being the best member of the Sangh. Meritorious students Sajal Kumar, Sukanya Sonam, Astha and Amrita Chatterjee were also felicitated at the function.
