Alert and brave Jharkhand policemen to be felicitated on April 22, Palak Muchhal to perform


    Jamshedpur, April 3: Kin of martyred policemen along with the brave and alert police officers of Jharkhand police will be felicitated during the Vardi Main Shakti ‘Ek Shaam Jharkhand Police Ke Naam’ felicitation function to be held at Gopal Maidan in Bistupur on April 22 from 6 pm onwards.

    Bollywood playback singer Palak Muchhal will enthrall the audience with the hit numbers after the ceremony. The ceremony will be inaugurated by chief minister Raghubar Das in presence of Jharkhand DGP DK Pandey and Kolhan DIG Saket Kumar.
    Jaiswal Samaj, Police Administration, Laghu Udyog Bharti and K Nishan Seva Trust is jointly organizing the programme in honour of the policemen for the very first time in Jamshedpur.

    Addressing the media, City SP Prabhat Kumar said, its a good initiative to honour the policemen who are constantly indulged in their duty to provide safety and security to the common man.

    ‘It came as a pleasant surprise for me when I heard about the event as Jamshedpur will be first to host a function of this caliber in the entire region as in Southern party of the country and Mumbai these events are a regular’, informed City SP.

    He further said that during the programme brave policemen will be felicitated which will act as a morale booster.

    During the ceremony a video will be screened on the life of a policemen and how they work 24/7.

    At the event senior police officials from across Jharkhand will be present.
    Later, the poster of the upcoming event was launched at a city hotel on Tuesday. Present at the event were City SP Prabhat Kumar, Traffic DSP Vivekananda Thakur, CCR DSP Sudhir Kumar, Sergeant Major Rajiv Kumar, Jaiswal Samaj’s Gyan Chand Jaiswal and Laghu Udyog Bharti President Rupesh Katiyar.

    Also present at the press meet were Dr. Santosh Gupta, K Nishan, Sunita Jaiswal, Ekta Jaiswal, Mevalal Jaiswal, Bipin Bihari, Akhilesh Jaiswal and others.
