Sources in the police department said the DC had also laid much stress on the intensified patrolling on the streets and at other strategic locations.

Speaking about the security arrangements, the SSP said, “We would be deploying additional number of Jharkhand Armed Police (JAP) in the city. We would also install additional number of CCTV cameras at the strategic locations.”

Vehicular traffic, the major concern will be under the administration’s scanner from this week as this issue is also an impediment in the way of organizing smooth flow.
